A German engineering chain and sprocket manufacturer plans to establish a new production facility in eastern Alabama, USA, as announced by state and company officials last month. KettenWulf, which celebrated its centennial last year, specializes in engineering solutions for heavy industries, covering applications in manufacturing, steel production, bulk material handling, chain manufacturing, and mining. The company plans to invest $34 million in the project in Auburn, Alabama, which is expected to create approximately 70 jobs.

Alabama officials noted that KettenWulf views this project as a crucial cornerstone for expanding its business in the U.S. market. Ansgar Wulf, the company's CEO, stated in the announcement, "We are proud to have found a new home in Auburn, which will help serve customers across the Americas." This move is expected to enhance the company's supply chain capabilities and market competitiveness in North America.
As a chain and sprocket manufacturer, KettenWulf's new plant construction will promote local economic development and provide more technical support for the heavy industry sector. The project reflects the company's long-term commitment to the U.S. market and is expected to drive synergistic development across the related industrial chain.
