Wedoany.com Report on Feb 26th, Kyoto Fusion Engineering has entered into a collaboration with UK Industrial Fusion Solutions (UKIFS) to jointly advance research on fusion blanket concepts. Under the contract, Kyoto Fusion Engineering will be responsible for developing a critical part of an advanced manufacturing demonstrator, validating the feasibility of future fusion blanket technology. This collaboration marks a new step forward in component innovation within the international fusion research community.

The fusion blanket, as a crucial component of fusion energy systems, is responsible for neutron absorption and energy conversion, playing a key role in enhancing fusion reaction efficiency. Kyoto Fusion Engineering stated that through this demonstrator project, the company will showcase its technical expertise in fusion component manufacturing.
