The new model made its debut last year at the Bauma trade fair in Munich, aiming to deliver enhanced performance, greater versatility, and improved operator comfort while maintaining a compact size suitable for tight urban spaces. The R 914 Compact excavator, introduced in 2018 and produced in Colmar, France, has been Liebherr's smallest crawler excavator, with an operating weight of 14.9 tons and equipped with a 90 kW engine. This model features a short-tail swing design, making it suitable for urban and confined worksites. It includes ground-level maintenance access, an automatic central lubrication system, and a 360-degree camera system. Building on these features, the R 915 Compact excavator further enhances efficiency, optimizes ergonomics, and improves serviceability while retaining its compact characteristics for urban construction sites.
