Wedoany.com Report on Mar 11th, Synopsys recently launched its Electronic Digital Twin Platform, designed to provide development support in the field of software-defined vehicles. The Electronic Digital Twin Platform is a cloud-based, open ecosystem that allows users to create custom environments and integrate software tools and virtual models.

Synopsys is first applying the Electronic Digital Twin Platform to the automotive industry to help OEMs streamline software verification processes. According to the company, this platform enables customers to complete approximately 90% of software verification work before hardware is available, thereby improving development efficiency.
Johannes Foufas, a representative from Volvo Cars, stated: "By virtualizing electronic control units, we can perform testing and validation before the hardware is in place. This helps reduce costs, improve software quality, and drive innovation throughout the vehicle lifecycle."
Synopsys is hosting its Converge event this week in Santa Clara, California. The event includes an opening keynote by CEO Sassine Ghazi and special guest Jensen Huang. Detailed information about the Electronic Digital Twin Platform is available on the company's blog, further supporting the development and optimization of automotive software.
