Wedoany.com Report-Dec 26, The adjustments include new routes, increased frequencies, and terminal infrastructure changes aimed at refining operational efficiency across key corridors.
Hupac has outlined updates to its shuttle network, that will take effect from January 1, 2025:
A new shuttle service will be introduced between Gent in Belgium and Piadena, southeast of Milan. Initially operating with three weekly roundtrips, the connection is expected to grow in frequency following the launch phase.
The existing service between Zeebrugge CLdN and Piacenza will see an increase in frequency from three to four weekly roundtrips. This adjustment aligns with the upcoming operational readiness of the new infrastructure in Piacenza, scheduled for early next year.
In northern Italy, the Busto Arsizio to Padova shuttle route will also experience an increase in frequency, rising from four to six weekly roundtrips. This route supports connectivity between northeastern and northwestern Italy while integrating with Hupac's broader network.
Additionally, the service connecting Malmö in Sweden with Köln Nord in Germany will benefit from the Köln Nord terminal's capabilities. The shift is expected to provide increased frequency for gateway connections heading south, contributing to overall network stability.
