en.Wedoany.com Reported - On April 22, 2026, the 24th Taiyuan International Coal Industry Technology and Equipment Exhibition, themed "Green Intelligence, Leading the Future," opened at the Shanxi Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center. Huawei Mine Corps, under China's Huawei Technologies, showcased its intelligent mine full-stack solution at Booth T26-1 in Hall S1. Wu Haiyu, President of Huawei Mine Corps, attended the main forum of the conference and delivered a keynote speech. This edition of the exhibition focused on displaying intelligent and green technology equipment across the entire coal industry chain.
In his speech, Wu Haiyu pointed out that despite initial achievements in the intelligent construction of the coal industry, it still faces challenges such as insufficient penetration of intelligent technologies and inadequate normal operation. He emphasized that Huawei, based on the "unified standards, unified architecture, unified data specifications" framework and integrating technologies such as AI, MineHarmony, and 5G, is committed to building intelligent mines to drive the industry towards enhanced safety, improved efficiency, and industrial development. He stated: "Building on our existing achievements, we continue to leverage the 'unified standards, unified architecture, unified data specifications' framework, combined with AI, MineHarmony, sliced networks, StarFlash, and 5G technologies, to co-create in-depth intelligent applications with our partners, ensuring the normal operation of intelligentization."
Huawei utilizes AI technology to conduct comprehensive analysis of mine data, achieving "preventive measures before events" in safety management. In terms of efficiency improvement, its solutions such as predictive equipment maintenance and intelligent coal washing have been deployed in multiple mining areas. Wu Haiyu revealed that in the open-pit mining field, Huawei has developed a full set of green, low-carbon intelligent mine solutions, ranging from green electricity and microgrids to 5G-based unmanned driving. Taking a coal preparation plant with an annual washing capacity of 3 million tons as an example, its heavy medium clean coal intelligent control system, which replaces manual experience with AI algorithms, can bring an annual revenue increase of about 5.82 million yuan and improve production stability by over 10%.
During the exhibition, Huawei Mine Corps and Shanxi Jinyun jointly showcased the country's first provincial-level coal industry internet platform. The outcomes of this collaboration have been applied on a large scale in multiple coal mines. Wu Haiyu stated that Huawei will continue to deepen collaborative technological research and co-creation of application scenarios, promoting the transformation of intelligent mines from benchmark projects to large-scale industrial replication, and continuously injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the coal industry through digital and intelligent technologies.
