The signing ceremony was held at the DeepX booth in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 on the opening day of COMPUTEX TAIPEI, attended by AAEON CEO Howard Lin and DeepX CEO Lokwon Kim.
The partnership between the two companies dates back several years, with a notable milestone in December 2025 when multiple models of AAEON's UP development kits and Mini PC series adopted DeepX's innovative DX-M1 AI chip to meet market demand for ultra-low-power, compact, AI-capable edge platforms. Following sustained collaboration and extensive project validation, the two companies have now formalized their partnership by signing the MOU.
Under the agreement, the two companies will engage in a three-year collaboration to integrate DeepX's AI semiconductors (NPUs) into AAEON's main product lines, including industrial PCs, single-board computers, and edge platforms. By combining DeepX's innovative AI technology with AAEON's deep expertise in industrial computing, both parties have optimized hardware design and thermal architecture to maximize the performance of DeepX's AI chips. The companies stated that this will provide customers with practical, competitive platforms that are easy to integrate, deploy, and scale across a wide range of edge AI applications.

At COMPUTEX 2026, AAEON will showcase edge AI solutions co-developed with DeepX and powered by DeepX's DX series AI accelerators. These solutions will demonstrate how customers can deploy AI inference directly at the edge for applications such as machine vision, defect detection, object detection, robotics, and automation. COMPUTEX TAIPEI will be held from June 2 to 5 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1, with AAEON's booth located at J1310.
