en.Wedoany.com Reported - Chengdu Yichuang Microelectronics Co., Ltd. launched the ET6000 series digital power control DSP new products in Shanghai on June 4, 2026. This marks the first joint public product release after OmniVision Group completed its strategic acquisition in March 2026. As AI training cluster power density continues to increase, with single-cabinet power rising from 20-30 kW to the hundred-kilowatt level, the loop bandwidth and PWM accuracy of the power control chip directly determine system stability. The ET6000 series adopts a 300MHz ARM Cortex-M7 core, achieving performance of 1575 CoreMark and 693 DMIPS; it integrates up to 24 SRPWM outputs with a resolution of 5ns and a minimum resolution of 156ps; it is equipped with 3 12-bit ADCs, with a sampling rate of up to 4 MSPS, supporting up to 34 analog sampling channels. The chip features a built-in hardware digital loop achieving 500ns-level DC/DC loop updates, and comes with an SDK, graphical configuration tools, and reference designs, covering applications such as photovoltaic inverters, energy storage converters, charging piles, on-board chargers, and AI server power supplies. The new products released this time include ET6039C, ET6039C-Q1, ET60157, and ET60137.

Dr. Gao Wenbao, General Manager of OmniVision Group and Chairman of Yichuang Microelectronics, stated that the strategic acquisition of Yichuang Micro is a key move for OmniVision in the field of energy main control chips. With OmniVision as the parent brand platform and Yichuang Micro as a specialized sub-brand, Yichuang Micro will receive comprehensive support from OmniVision in supply chain, funding, channels, and quality systems. In terms of supply chain, leveraging OmniVision's global wafer procurement and industry chain cooperation scale, Yichuang Micro gains advantages in advanced processes, packaging and testing resources, and cost control, ensuring stable delivery during periods of tight capacity. In terms of technical synergy, the two parties will jointly build system-level solutions combining "sensors + main control chips + power devices." In terms of market synergy, OmniVision has long-term cooperation with global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive electronics field, while Yichuang Micro has established a foundation in industrial new energy sectors such as photovoltaics, energy storage, and charging piles. Together, they will explore markets including on-board power supplies, electric drive control, and industrial energy systems.

Luo Xiangkun, General Manager of Yichuang Microelectronics, pointed out that the ET6000 series was originally designed to respond to the explosion of AI computing power and the global trend toward low-carbon energy. Product measured parameters include: built-in hardware digital loop with closed-loop update speed of 500 nanoseconds; PWM resolution of 156 picoseconds, supporting GaN high-frequency topologies; the automotive-grade model ET6039C-Q1 complies with AEC-Q100 Grade 1 and ISO 26262 ASIL-B standards, with a maximum junction temperature of 150°C. In terms of quality, each chip undergoes three-temperature testing at room temperature, high temperature, and low temperature. The verification cycle for a single product is 3 to 5 months, with cumulative test samples exceeding 1,800 units, and potential defects are eliminated through screening methods such as PAT, StackMAP, and GDBN.
