en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, China ENFI Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "ENFI") and Green Power Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd. (stock codes: 601330.SH, 01330.HK) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The two parties will establish a long-term cooperative relationship in environmental protection, new energy, and related fields, engaging in deep collaboration in areas such as joint technology research and development, digital intelligent services, low-carbon new energy industries, technical consulting, engineering design, and project construction and operation. They will also jointly establish an AI Innovation Center for Urban Solid Waste-to-Energy, promoting the integrated innovation of solid waste energy utilization and artificial intelligence.

Founded in 1953, China ENFI Engineering Corporation, formerly known as the China Nonferrous Engineering and Design Research Institute, is now a subsidiary of China Minmetals Corporation and China Metallurgical Group Corporation, both Fortune Global 500 companies. It is the only institution in China's nonferrous engineering consulting and design industry to hold both the Comprehensive Class A Engineering Design Qualification and the Comprehensive Class A Engineering Consulting Credit Rating, having participated in 12,000 engineering projects across more than 60 countries and regions. The company's business covers nine segments, including non-coal mines, nonferrous metallurgy, water resources, energy and environment, urban mining, and intelligent equipment, making it one of the few domestic enterprises with a "five-in-one" service capability encompassing consulting, design, construction, investment, and operation.

Green Power Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd., established in 2000 and controlled by Beijing State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd., is the first A+H-share listed company in China's waste-to-energy incineration industry. With total assets of approximately RMB 22 billion, the company holds over 70 solid waste treatment BOT and PPP concession contracts in more than 20 provinces and cities, including Beijing, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hubei, and Guangdong, with a total waste treatment capacity of 78,000 tons per day, or approximately 26 million tons per year. As a national high-tech enterprise, its independently developed series of "multi-drive reverse-thrust waste incinerators" ranging from 250 tons to 1,000 tons has been recommended by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

According to the agreement, the jointly established AI Innovation Center for Urban Solid Waste-to-Energy will drive the transformation of digital and intelligent solutions for environmental protection industries such as waste-to-energy incineration from project-based to product-based, accelerating the digital and intelligent transformation of the solid waste treatment industry. Previously, in 2025, the two parties completed the construction and acceptance of a full-process intelligent system for waste incineration at the Green Power Haining project. This system deeply integrates big data, artificial intelligence, and intelligent simulation technologies, covering the entire process from waste entry and storage to fermentation and incineration, laying the technical foundation for this strategic cooperation. The signing of this agreement marks a new phase for both parties, moving from project cooperation to strategic synergy, resource sharing, and innovation promotion.
