Korea IL and ESTEC System Join Forces to Develop Physical AI Security and Facility Management Services

en.Wedoany.com Reported - IL has signed a business agreement with ESTEC System to jointly develop security and facility management services based on Physical AI. ESTEC System, a company engaged in integrated security, facility management (FM), parking management, epidemic prevention and control, and environmental management, reported consolidated sales of 975.2 billion KRW and an operating profit of 28.8 billion KRW last year. The company is currently pursuing an initial public offering (IPO).

The two parties plan to jointly advance security and facility management services utilizing the humanoid robot ILbot H2 and the autonomous quadruped robot ILbot L1 Max. The ILbot H2 is designed for tasks such as customer reception and guidance, patrol, and facility inspection. The ILbot L1 Max is planned for autonomous patrol and anomaly detection in facilities such as power plants, data centers, factories, logistics centers, and large buildings.

IL plans to implement an operational model where robots handle repetitive patrols, facility inspections, and anomaly confirmation, while ESTEC System's on-site personnel respond to any abnormal situations. The two companies will also leverage data accumulated during operations to continuously improve AI performance and the operational platform. IL intends to enhance its Physical AI robot operational platform based on the acquired data and expand into the Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) business.

A representative from IL stated that this collaboration marks the beginning of applying a Physical AI-based operational system to security and facility management sites, and that the company will strengthen its platform competitiveness based on data obtained during operations.
