en.Wedoany.com Reported - APS (Santos Port Authority, Autoridade Portuária de Santos) has launched the third phase of Valongo Park (Parque Valongo), delivering the renovation of Warehouse 3 (Armazém 3) located in the historic center of Santos. The space received an investment of approximately R$20 million, funded through Trimmc (Terms of Responsibility for Implementing Mitigating and/or Compensatory Measures, Termos de Responsabilidade de Implantação de Medidas Mitigadoras e/ou Compensatórias) signed with port terminals, and will be integrated into an area dedicated to events, gastronomy, tourism, and the creative economy.

Warehouse 3 can accommodate up to 3,000 people, expanding the facilities of Valongo Park. The park, inaugurated in 2024, is the first public park established in a port area in the state of São Paulo.

APS also announced the creation of Forte Park (Parque do Forte) in Guarujá, on the left bank of the Port of Santos, by incorporating the area of Fort Itapema (Forte Itapema) into the port polygon, an initiative aimed at promoting port-city integration.
