SK Telecom Information Security White Paper 2025

This white paper is SK Telecom's first official report to re-examine its information security system from a company-wide perspective, aiming to prevent recurrence of issues, restore trust, and outline key activities and achievements.

The "Information Security White Paper 2025" consists of three main sections: information security governance, information security architecture and technology, and personal information protection, clarifying the operational direction across all areas of information security and privacy.

The white paper treats information security as a company-wide execution system rather than a single technical issue. Against the backdrop of expanded security responsibilities and scope due to changes in artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and supply chain environments, the white paper includes recommendations for corporate responses to security standards and systems.

Lee Jong-hyun, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of SK Telecom's Integrated Security Center, stated that information security must evolve into a structure capable of continuously verifying and responding to changing threats, and that the company will build an information security system trusted by customers and society through responsible and transparent execution.
