en.Wedoany.com Reported - Latin Metals has obtained high-grade surface sampling results at the La Flora project in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina, with gold grades reaching 63.88 g/t and silver grades of 175.34 g/t. Exploration analysis completed by Daura Gold Corp. confirms the presence of high-grade epithermal mineralization within this approximately one-kilometer-long vein system, validating the project's feasibility for advancing to the initial drilling stage.

The primary objective of this sampling program was to confirm the continuity and grade of gold and silver mineralization identified in previous work, and to refine target locations before drilling activities commence. The La Flora project is currently in a critical exploration phase. Keith Henderson, Chairman and CEO of Latin Metals, stated that these results continue to demonstrate the potential of the Cerro Bayo–La Flora area, and confirming high-grade mineralization in an undrilled vein system is encouraging. This vein system is part of a broader geological system where visible gold, high-quality samples, and the potential for new discoveries exist.

The sampling work at the La Flora project also assessed the continuity and mineralization quality of the vein system, with results enhancing the planning basis for subsequent exploration and drilling programs. Mark Sumner, CEO of Daura, noted that the sampling results confirm very high grades, including the presence of visible gold, reinforcing the potential of this vein system. The vein can be traced for over one kilometer at surface, comprising four veins within a corridor approximately 100 meters wide. These results support the project's advancement to a second phase of drilling.

The sampling results confirm high-grade mineralization in the La Flora vein system, with samples yielding gold grades up to 63.88 g/t and silver grades up to 175.34 g/t. High-grade mineralization is distributed across an area composed of four veins, approximately 100 meters wide and 380 meters long, while also including a broader system traceable over nearly one kilometer at surface.

Daura is currently planning a second-phase drilling program for the third quarter of 2026, which will cover both the Cerro Bayo and La Flora areas. At Cerro Bayo, the focus will be on follow-up drilling to assess the continuity of identified zones and test new targets that have not yet been drilled. At La Flora, initial drilling will be conducted on this emerging high-grade target. In terms of execution, Cerro Bayo has obtained drilling permits to advance follow-up work; drilling permits for La Flora are still under application. It is expected that once permits are obtained, the project will initiate the initial drilling in the second-phase plan.
