During the inspection, the technical team explained that the Piura West substation will serve as a connection point for the future Grau substation and outlined the planned measures to integrate both facilities into the power system, aiming to enhance energy supply capacity in the city of Piura.
Subsequently, the delegation visited the construction site of the Grau substation, which is listed as a strategic project in ENOSA's investment plan to expand and modernize the region's power infrastructure. Experts on site provided updates on the current construction status and the execution plan for each phase before the project becomes operational.
At the conclusion of the inspection, FONAFE representatives learned about the progress of these investments, which will contribute to building a power system with greater capacity, higher reliability, and the ability to meet the growing energy demand in the Piura region.
