en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Martinhal Group (Grupo Martinhal) has launched the Marvila Studios project within the Edu Hub Lisbon campus in the Marvila district of Lisbon. This project combines flexible accommodation, hotel services, and an international community concept, offering 326 units for private investment, accompanied by professional management and a ten-year guaranteed return.
This new hybrid hotel concept marks the Martinhal Group's entry into a new segment of urban hospitality in Portugal.
University students, young professionals, training program participants, digital nomads, and international visitors are the primary groups the project aims to attract.
Over the years, international mobility has continued to grow, along with the number of English-taught university programs, the trend of remote work, and the demand for medium- to long-term accommodation. Against this backdrop, the project aims to respond to new models of studying, working, and temporarily living in large cities, integrating flexible accommodation, hotel services, and an international community within a single ecosystem.

Thus, Marvila Studios offers a model that serves university students, young professionals, training participants, digital nomads, and international visitors year-round.
It will feature 374 suites and supporting facilities.
The project will include 374 suites, of which 326 will be available for purchase by private investors—the remainder are not for sale for now—under a sale-and-leaseback model, providing a ten-year guaranteed return, with full operational management by the Martinhal Group.

All units are equipped with private bathrooms, fully equipped kitchenettes, and integrated storage solutions. The project will also offer co-working and study spaces, a fitness area, a coffee bar, 24-hour reception and security, a communal laundry room, and other facilities designed to enhance the flexible accommodation experience.
Architect Eduardo Capinha Lopes designed these apartments with a strong focus on functionality, natural lighting, and spatial efficiency.
Chitra Stern, CEO and Co-Founder of the Martinhal Group and Edu Hub Lisbon, stated that over the past 25 years, the group has grown alongside its customers' needs, starting from family resorts and expanding into urban hotels, branded residences, and international education. She noted that learning, working, and traveling are increasingly intertwined, and Marvila Studios is a product of this evolution, representing a new generation of more flexible, more urban hospitality experiences integrated into an international education and mobility ecosystem.
