en.Wedoany.com Reported - Belararox (ASX:BRX) has identified additional targets at the Kalahari Copper Project (KCP) following the completion of airborne electromagnetic (AEM) surveys over its license areas PL0773 and PL2743 in northern Botswana.

Preliminary interpretation of the survey data indicates "strong" geological continuity in the potential contact zone between the adjacent Khoemacau mine of MMG (HKG:1208) and the Motheo mine of Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR).

Chief Executive Officer Will Dix said further interpretation of the AEM data has reinforced a "significant number of high-quality" drill targets within the project.

"We are now focused on mobilizing the rig to site and commencing our initial drilling program," Dix added.

KCP covers approximately 3,900 square kilometers east and south of Maun, near MMG's Khoemacau copper production center, which currently produces around 50,000 tonnes of copper metal annually and is undergoing expansion targeting a capacity of 130,000 tonnes.

Belararox recently awarded the initial drilling contract to Rots Drill Exploration, an affiliate of Major Drilling (TSX:MDI), with the rig expected to be mobilized within two weeks.

The company has also completed ionic soil geochemical sampling over parts of PL0773 and PL2743, with results expected in approximately six weeks.

Belararox is evaluating other areas for surface geochemical work, which is expected to commence by the end of this month (July).

Belararox also noted that shareholders approved the company's name change to Vantage Metals (ASX:VAN) at last week's shareholder meeting, effective from July 17, 2026.

"(The name change) represents the start of a new chapter for the company, not just a new paragraph, with a full reset now complete, and the next six to twelve months for Vantage Metals will be exciting," Dix said.

Belararox is a mineral exploration company with a portfolio of projects in Argentina and Botswana, focused on the exploration of copper, gold, and other metals.
