en.Wedoany.com Reported - Chinese 3D printing company Sunlu has launched a drying box specifically designed for the Bambu Lab AMS Lite multicolor printing system, compatible with A1, A1 mini, and A2L 3D printers. This box-type device is used directly with the AMS and requires no modifications to the printer during installation.

The internal temperature can be adjusted up to 70°C, which is reportedly sufficient to dry PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, polyamide, polycarbonate, and other common filaments. Two air ducts distribute hot air evenly between the spools, while a built-in ventilation system expels moisture from the box.

The drying box features a built-in humidity sensor for real-time monitoring of internal humidity. Users can set a threshold, and once the value is exceeded, the system automatically starts the drying process. The product is also equipped with a door open sensor, temperature control, and overheat protection mechanisms.

On the Sunlu official website, the AMS Lite Heater is priced at $130, with pre-orders opening from July 20.
Sunlu previously launched the AMS Heater drying box to replace the original lid of the first-generation Bambu Lab AMS multicolor printing system. In the second-generation AMS, Bambu Lab engineers have integrated the drying function directly into the system.
