The new data confirms high-grade, thick gold intervals in the White Rock West area, enhancing the resource potential of the region. Key intercepts include: a 21.34-meter interval grading 1.43 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, containing a higher-grade 9.14-meter section at 2.84 g/t gold; another intercept of 1.52 meters at 6.64 g/t gold within a 12.19-meter interval grading 2.85 g/t gold; and an additional 1.52-meter section at 5.47 g/t gold within a 4.57-meter interval grading 2.63 g/t gold.

Three drill rigs are currently operating in the northern area of East Camp Douglas to assess the project's potential. Allan Turner, Vice President of Exploration at Fortitude Gold, stated that the company is focused on establishing an initial resource in the White Rock West area of the East Camp Douglas project. He believes the area has significant growth potential and plans to expand the exploration scope once relevant permits are obtained. Turner expects to receive the exploration operating plan in the fourth quarter of 2026, which will allow for expanded exploration activities in the area while continuing work on existing drill zones in northern East Camp Douglas.

The East Camp Douglas project covers approximately 5,583 acres, located about 10 kilometers southwest of the town of Mina, Nevada. Mineralization types vary within the project: the southern area is dominated by low-sulfidation gold mineralization, while the northern area exhibits high-sulfidation gold mineralization. High-grade drilling results have been obtained from both areas as part of the exploration program. The project is operated by a joint venture, with Fortitude Gold holding a 60% interest and Hawthorne Land & Minerals LLC holding a 40% interest. A total of $40 million has been invested in exploration and development to date.
