en.Wedoany.com Reported - Hyperscale Data, Inc. (NYSE American: GPUS) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Omnipresent Robotics, has begun installing OPR-R2 robots at the company's AI data center in Michigan. The first OPR-R2 unit was assembled at the facility on July 16, 2026, marking the official launch of the company's large-scale visual data collection and physical AI training program.

Omnipresent Robotics has ordered 143 OPR-R2 robots, of which up to 100 are expected to be installed at the Michigan facility. The remaining units are anticipated to be allocated to partner pilot programs, with further details to be announced in the coming months. Delivery and installation timelines are subject to manufacturing cycles, supply chain conditions, and other factors beyond the company's control, and actual timing may differ materially from current expectations.

Hyperscale Data is developing a dedicated robotics facility of approximately 100,000 square feet within the site, designed to support the deployment and operation of OPR-R2 robots, including performing real-world physical tasks, collecting and processing visual training data, and related AI development activities. The company believes that, as the program evolves, the dedicated robotics facility and related expansions could create over 500 jobs within approximately the next three years.

The OPR-R2 robot is designed to perform real-world daily tasks while collecting high-quality visual, spatial, motion, and interaction data. After processing and validation, this data will be used to train and improve large language models, vision-language-action models, robot foundation models, and other multimodal artificial intelligence systems. All data generated through this program will be processed, stored, and maintained within the United States, and the company does not intend to remove it from the country.

The program aims to address a key challenge in physical and embodied AI: acquiring high-quality, real-world data to demonstrate how machines perceive, navigate, and interact with physical environments. The OPR-R2 fleet primarily serves as a real-world data generation platform, rather than for evaluating the robots themselves. The robots perform actual tasks in operational environments while capturing visual and physical information, helping AI systems better understand, navigate, and operate in the physical world.

Will Horne, CEO of Hyperscale Data, stated that the arrival of the first OPR-R2 robot in Michigan marks the beginning of the program. Mr. Horne noted that the company believes this dedicated facility can become a significant hub for generating, processing, and storing high-quality physical world data for large language models, multimodal AI systems, and other advanced AI applications. He also emphasized that the data generated by the program will be stored and maintained within the United States and is expected to support over 500 jobs within approximately the next three years.

Hyperscale Data, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Sentinum, Inc., owns and operates a data center, mines digital assets, and provides hosting services. Its other subsidiary, Ault Capital Group, Inc., is a hybrid private equity firm with operations spanning financial services, digital assets, industrial services, and more. Hyperscale Data is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.
