en.Wedoany.com Reported - Unit 1 of the 2×660 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation project of Huaibei Juneng Power Generation Co., Ltd., surveyed and designed by China Energy Engineering Group East China Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., successfully passed the 168-hour full-load trial operation at 9:16 on July 18. During the trial operation, the main and auxiliary equipment operated stably, with excellent economic and environmental indicators, and all parameters met the design values, indicating that the unit is ready for commercial operation. With this, both units of the project have been completed and put into operation, achieving the dual commissioning target.

The project commenced construction in April 2024, adopting a technical route of system optimization and integrated innovation, aiming to create a demonstration project for coal-power integration. The project simultaneously constructed flue gas desulfurization, denitrification, and dust removal facilities, with a designed standard coal consumption for power supply of approximately 265.3 g/kWh, a designed peak-shaving depth of 20%, and flue gas pollutant emission concentrations meeting ultra-clean emission standards. The project also applied advanced energy-saving and environmental protection technologies such as double reheat, high-level water collection cooling towers, vacuum heat pipe low-temperature economizers, and zero wastewater discharge.

During the project construction, the design team of East China Electric Power Design Institute provided high-quality drawing support and ensured a response to on-site needs within 24 hours, working closely with all participating units to guarantee the success of the 168-hour full-load trial operation for both units. After full commissioning, the project will become a main power source for the Anhui power grid. When the two units operate in coordination, their peak-shaving performance helps support the safe and stable operation of the regional power grid and provides energy security for the economic and social development of Anhui Province.

As a key supporting power project for Anhui Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, this project is significant for optimizing the regional power structure, enhancing grid flexibility regulation capabilities, and promoting clean energy consumption. It also promotes the large-scale application of double reheat ultra-supercritical technology, driving the power industry's transformation towards efficiency, cleanliness, and low-carbon development.
