en.Wedoany.com Reported - Peugeot has recently released official images of the all-new e-208 model. Built on the STLA One platform, the vehicle features a rectangular steer-by-wire steering wheel, with a starting price under €30,000 (approximately RMB 232,000). It is scheduled for an official launch in 2027 and is expected to make its debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show.

In terms of exterior design, the new model adopts a low-drag design and pays homage to Peugeot's classic hatchback 205 from the 1980s, while continuing the style of the Polygon concept car. The hood features a clamshell design, and the headlight cluster adopts the iconic lion claw shape, spanning the entire front end. The front bumper incorporates a three-section air intake, with lights hidden in the side air ducts.

The rear design echoes the headlights, also featuring a lion claw-style full-width taillight. The rear window offers a wide field of view, complemented by a sporty rear spoiler, while the rear bumper introduces sleek high-gloss black paint.

Inside, the new model features a highly personalized rectangular steering wheel and is equipped with four circular illuminated buttons, giving the overall design a more futuristic feel. Thanks to the steer-by-wire system, the steering wheel requires minimal rotation and can adjust steering effort based on speed. In terms of powertrain, the all-new Peugeot e-208 will be equipped with CALB's lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a WLTP range of 500 kilometers. Further powertrain details have yet to be announced.
