en.Wedoany.com Reported - Turkish industrial manufacturing group Imas has launched its latest Multimilla+ roller mill, which the company says incorporates the latest technologies from the feeding system to the grinding system.
This roller mill adopts a non-traditional structural design approach, emphasizing strength, durability, and hygiene. The equipment features stainless steel contact surfaces, rounded internal corners, and minimized dead zones. The mineral cast base frame is a special chassis design developed by the Imas R&D team, offering vibration damping capabilities 20 times higher than welded steel, providing greater operational reliability and long-term durability.
In the feeding system, the level control of the inlet hopper is managed via infrared sensors, enabling precise measurement and feed management. The system is also equipped with a feed roll rotation sensor to handle unexpected situations. The Multimilla+ uses a direct drive system to power the feed rolls, which, according to Imas, is efficient, trouble-free, and requires low maintenance.
In terms of grinding technology, the equipment employs a new generation of torque motors to improve energy efficiency. The torque motor operates smoothly and reliably while saving space, reducing initial investment costs, and offering variable speed advantages. The i-GPC system eliminates the need for manual adjustment of the grinding gap, automatically monitoring grinding pressure in real time to achieve high efficiency, high extraction rates, and consistency.
The Multimilla+ roller mill is designed for ease of operation, cleaning, and maintenance. The front cover can be fully opened, the sliding feed assembly can be removed as a whole, and the grinding roll replacement time is approximately 15 minutes. The equipment also offers the SMARTLUB option, providing centralized, automatic, and safe lubrication maintenance for the roll shells. Developed by Imas, SMARTLUB can be used for a single roller mill or can connect all roller mills in a plant for unified management.
