en.Wedoany.com Reported - Cubbo, a company specializing in e-commerce and retail logistics technology, has invested 18 million pesos to open a new distribution center in Tultepec, State of Mexico, expanding its logistics infrastructure footprint in the country. The facility spans 8,850 square meters, manages 53,000 inventory slots, and processes up to 450,000 orders per month.

E-commerce growth, retail expansion, and sales channel diversification are driving up demand for logistics infrastructure in Mexico, with the market placing higher requirements on warehousing capacity, shipment traceability, and operational flexibility. Cubbo's new center is designed to meet this demand, with the facility specifically built for fulfillment, B2B, DTC, and cross-dock operations, and designed for easy connectivity with major regional retailers. This expansion aims to address the sales growth needs arising from brands operating across multiple channels simultaneously, allowing clients to avoid developing their own logistics infrastructure.
Josu Gurtubay, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Cubbo, stated that logistics is no longer just an operational step but part of a brand's competitive advantage; this opening represents another step in the company's infrastructure investment, intended to help clients gain greater capacity, control, and speed in their business growth.
The core value of the new center lies in bringing inventory closer to points of sale and sales channels, shortening delivery times and expanding corporate coverage, while also being adapted for seasonal demand spikes and scheduled deliveries for large retail chains. On the operational side, order traceability is a key component. Cubbo directly manages the distribution center, relying on its own technology infrastructure, systems, and personnel to monitor the flow of goods end-to-end, from purchase order receipt to final destination delivery. This model aims to reduce issues in retailer deliveries, such as rejections caused by missed appointment windows, while providing status information for each order and supporting inventory management.
The infrastructure also allows brands to scale operations without additional investment in warehouses, equipment, and specialized personnel, transferring part of their logistics needs to an external operator.
The launch of the Tultepec center is part of Cubbo's expansion across Latin America. The company has also recently expanded its operations in Brazil, opening a new distribution center in Extrema, Minas Gerais. Cubbo now operates nine distribution centers across Mexico and Brazil, serving more than 300 brands and processing over one million orders per month.
