China's Depu CNC 160 Million Yuan Five-Axis Machine Tool Manufacturing Base Commences Operation in Haining, Zhejiang

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 15, Depu CNC's intelligent manufacturing base located in Haining, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, was officially inaugurated and put into operation. The project involves a total investment of 160 million yuan, covers an area of 32 mu (approximately 21,300 square meters), and is primarily responsible for the large-scale production of high-end five-axis CNC machining centers, with key focus on the G-series cradle-type five-axis machining centers and the U-series swivel-head heavy-duty five-axis machining centers, and is equipped with precision assembly, constant-temperature and constant-humidity control, and complete-machine inspection facilities.

The new base features a constant-temperature and constant-humidity precision assembly workshop that controls temperature and humidity for large castings, linear transmission components, and the machine tool assembly environment. Coordinate measuring machines and laser interferometers from the company's Shenzhen R&D center have been relocated to the base and put into use for geometric accuracy inspection of machine tools, motion performance measurement, and complete-machine factory acceptance testing.

The base's production tasks cover the G-series vertical cradle five-axis machining centers and the U-series vertical-horizontal swivel-head heavy-duty five-axis machining centers. The company has simultaneously adjusted its production organization and key component inventory management, allocating production resources around equipment final assembly, accuracy inspection, and delivery processes. The two types of machining centers respectively address the needs of five-axis simultaneous machining of complex parts and the machining of large heavy-duty workpieces.

Depu CNC previously disclosed its Haining smart factory construction plan in November 2025, with relevant materials proposing a construction target of an annual production capacity of 120 five-axis machining centers and core components. The company's base inauguration announcement released on October 16 confirmed that production facilities have been put into operation, but did not disclose the current actual annual output.

During the base inauguration period, Depu CNC also engaged in technical cooperation with partners on AI-native control technology and participated in the release of a related industrial control technology white paper. The company plans to launch the GM130 desktop five-axis machining center within 2026, adding a new model aimed at small precision part machining and R&D applications.
