en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 29, the tender for the commercial and public activity zone (Souq) construction of the Saudi Arabia Riyadh Expo 2030 project entered the extended bidding stage, with the deadline for contractors to submit bid documents adjusted to November 11. The project covers five sub-zones with a total development area of approximately 300,000 square meters. The tender was launched on July 30 with an original deadline of October 9. This adjustment involves the building, infrastructure, and public space works across the five sub-zones.

The project consists of five functional sub-zones: the Iconic Theme Zone at 41,417 square meters, the Place and Planet Theme Zone at 62,306 square meters, the Smart Culture Theme Zone at 67,112 square meters, the Saudi Arabia Theme Zone at 45,967 square meters, and the Adaptability and Innovation Theme Zone at 82,358 square meters. Each sub-zone will be equipped with corresponding building facilities and connected to the thematic exhibition spaces of the Expo site.

The construction contracting scope includes above-ground buildings, supporting infrastructure, and public open space construction across the five sub-zones. Planned facilities include leased pavilions, partner pavilions, dining, retail, and visitor experience venues, forming an integrated commercial and public activity area at the center of the Expo site.

The works will also connect with three public parks within the site and link to the Natural Corridor via bridges. The bridges and related public space connection works fall within the scope of site facility interfaces covered by this tender.
