en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality in Limpopo Province, South Africa, is advancing the procurement for the construction of roads and stormwater networks in Extension 2 and 3 of Mashifane Park. The tender closing date for the two construction lots has been adjusted from October 30 to November 17. The project was originally opened for tender on September 22, primarily procuring contractors for road and stormwater drainage network construction, and is currently in the open tender stage.

The procurement is divided into two contract packages, A and B, with tender numbers FTM/T01/26/27 and FTM/T02/26/27 respectively. Both lots cover the construction of municipal roads and stormwater networks within Extension 2 and 3 of Mashifane Park, with separate tender numbers used to organize contractor selection.

Bidders are required to hold a civil engineering contractor grading of 8CE or higher from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) of South Africa. The evaluation adopts a 90/10 preferential procurement scoring mechanism, with bid price accounting for 90 points and specific procurement objectives accounting for 10 points. The technical functionality evaluation covers company engineering experience, project team, construction equipment, and financial capability. Bidders who meet the prescribed technical score threshold proceed to the subsequent evaluation stage.

In parallel with the two road and drainage works lots, the municipality is also conducting a separate procurement for the integrated municipal infrastructure works in the Mashifane Park extensions, with tender number FTM/T03/26/27, whose tender closing date has likewise been adjusted to November 17.
