Wedoany.com Report-Aug. 14, As of August 13, 2025, Ukraine has exported 2.721 million metric tons of grain and leguminous crops in the 2025/26 marketing year, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. This volume is 2.808 million metric tons lower than the previous year, representing a 50% decrease.
Wheat exports reached 1.422 million metric tons, a reduction of 1.186 million metric tons compared to the same period last year, equivalent to a 1.8-fold decrease. This decline reflects adjustments in Ukraine’s agricultural export dynamics for the current marketing year.
Barley exports totaled 462,000 metric tons, while no rye exports have been recorded so far in the 2025/26 marketing year. Corn exports amounted to 827,000 metric tons, down by 1.234 million metric tons from the previous year, marking a 2.4-fold reduction. These figures indicate a significant shift in export volumes across key grain categories.
Additionally, Ukraine exported 5,600 metric tons of flour, equivalent to 7,500 metric tons in grain terms, which is 1,700 metric tons less than the previous year, a 1.3-fold decrease. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported these statistics, highlighting the changes in export patterns for the season.
