Wedoany.com Report-Nov. 26, Q2 Metals Corp. has reported additional high-grade lithium intercepts from its ongoing 2025 drilling program at the Cisco Lithium Project in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec, Canada.
Cisco lithium project in Quebec.
The project has been named a finalist for the Association de l'exploration minière du Québec (AEMQ) Discovery of the Year Award. The Cisco property covers more than 41,000 hectares and hosts an initial exploration target of 215 to 329 million tonnes grading 1.0% to 1.38% Li₂O.
Recent results from three drill holes (CS25-036, CS25-038, and CS25-039) confirm wide, continuous spodumene-bearing pegmatite zones. Hole CS25-036 returned nine mineralised intervals, including a standout intercept of 272.5 metres grading 1.61% Li₂O that remains open at depth and along strike.
Hole CS25-038 intersected 17 separate pegmatite zones, highlighted by 66.5 metres at 1.55% Li₂O and 58.9 metres at 1.09% Li₂O. Hole CS25-039 delivered 12 intervals, with the strongest results including 108.5 metres at 1.62% Li₂O, 71.0 metres at 1.84% Li₂O, 77.7 metres at 1.48% Li₂O, and 107.4 metres at 1.87% Li₂O.
The company noted that these wide, high-grade zones demonstrate the district-scale potential of the Cisco system and could contribute to enhancing North America's lithium supply chain.
Q2 Metals is using real-time multiphysics imaging from Fleet Space's ExoSphere platform to refine targeting and accelerate discovery. To support an accelerated timeline for an initial Mineral Resource Estimate planned for the first half of 2026, a fourth drill rig has been mobilised to the project.
The latest results further confirm the presence of thick, high-grade lithium mineralisation across multiple parallel pegmatites, reinforcing Cisco as one of Canada's emerging large-scale lithium projects.
