Following the signing of international orders from countries such as Germany and Singapore, Shandong Sealand Equipment Group has renewed a multi-purpose vessel project with a UK shipowner, fully demonstrating the UK client's trust in the shipbuilding capabilities of the Equipment Group.

In September last year, Shandong Sealand Equipment Group signed an international order for 3+1 12,600 DWT multi-purpose vessels with a UK shipowner, marking its first entry into the UK market. This vessel type was jointly developed by Shandong Sealand Equipment Group and China's top-tier design institute—Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute. It can flexibly load large cargoes such as wind power equipment and offshore engineering modules, boasting advantages such as green energy efficiency, high operational flexibility, and strong loading capacity.

The vessel has an overall length of 149.9 meters, a breadth of 22.8 meters, a depth of 12.0 meters, and a design draft of 7.5 meters. It can meet the flexible loading requirements for large cargoes such as wind power equipment and offshore engineering modules. It features green energy efficiency, excellent maneuverability, and strong cargo-handling capabilities, representing a new generation of green, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly multi-purpose vessels.
