en.Wedoany.com Reported - Warehouse automation technology provider Locus Robotics has launched the next phase of its European expansion, planning to relocate its European headquarters operations to the Logistics Campus Aalsmeer.

The expanded facility will provide significantly more space for Locus Robotics' European team, warehouse operations, customer demonstrations, solution training, partner engagements, and regional robot lifecycle support.

This relocation builds on several years of regional growth, with Locus Robotics currently serving over 160 customers in more than 20 countries and supporting over 17,000 robots on-site.

During peak seasons, the company deploys hundreds of additional robots to help customers flexibly adjust capacity when demand is highest, highlighting the value of flexible automation as warehouse operators face labor constraints, volume fluctuations, SKU complexity, and evolving fulfillment requirements.

Denis Niezgoda, Chief Commercial Officer International at Locus Robotics, stated that Europe is a key growth market for the company, and this expansion reflects the scale of opportunities it is facing.

As demand accelerates, the company is investing in the infrastructure, talent, and customer experience needed to support the complete automation lifecycle, from deployment and service to seasonal scaling and long-term performance optimization.

The facility will allow customers and prospects to directly understand the full power of its solutions, including Locus Origin, Locus Vector, Locus Array, and LocusONE™, while demonstrating how flexible automation operates at scale in real-world operational environments.

Locus Robotics helps warehouse operators adapt to changing demand, labor availability, order profiles, and SKU complexity, while improving productivity, accuracy, labor efficiency, and workplace ergonomics.

Powered by the LocusONE orchestration platform, Locus Robotics coordinates fulfillment workflows through a unified system of robots, operational data, and artificial intelligence.

Its product portfolio includes Locus Origin for core workflows such as picking, replenishment, returns, and sorting; Locus Vector for higher payloads, larger batch handling, and material flow; and Locus Array, a fully autonomous "Robots-to-Goods" fulfillment system developed specifically for high-density storage and picking environments.

The new site will be developed by Next Level Development on the Japanlaan and Thailandlaan plots in Aalsmeer, with completion expected in April 2027, when Locus Robotics will move into the facility.

René Geujen, Director of Acquisitions and Leasing at Next Level Development, stated that Locus Robotics is a significant new addition to the Logistics Campus Aalsmeer.

The company is proud that this location will serve as an important base for Locus Robotics' expanding European operations, and its selection highlights the quality and appeal of both the building itself and the entire logistics area.

Cushman & Wakefield advised Locus Robotics throughout the search and leasing process for the new facility, supporting the company in identifying a location that meets its growing operational, warehouse, demonstration, and customer engagement needs to continue its expansion in Europe.

Aron van den Hoogen, Senior Consultant at Cushman & Wakefield, stated that Locus Robotics had a clear need for a future-proof facility to support its expanding European operations, growing installed base, and broader automation portfolio. The new location in Aalsmeer offers the right combination of accessibility, logistics infrastructure, and operational flexibility to support the company's next phase of growth.
