en.Wedoany.com Reported - The biomass pellet processing plant at Nanbeihe Forest Farm of Tongbei Forestry Bureau Co., Ltd. converts forestry residues into clean energy pellets, with a stable daily output exceeding 20 tons. Branches, twigs, and straw—once considered an "ecological burden"—are transformed into what workers call "black gold" pellets through drying and molding processes at the plant.
Inside the approximately 3,000-square-meter facility, drying drums operate continuously, producing shiny black pellets at the end of the production line. Shan Lijiang, head of the production workshop, explained that the key to the process lies in precisely controlling the moisture content to around 15%. The resulting pellets have high calorific value, low ash content, and minimal sulfur and nitrogen emissions during combustion, making them an ideal clean alternative energy source. To achieve this, the temperature at the tail end of the dryer is precisely maintained between 55 and 60 degrees Celsius, ensuring even heat distribution and producing dense, long-burning pellets.

This year, the plant added dust removal equipment, improving the workshop environment. Frontline operators reported that the workshop is clean and dust-free, providing a healthier and more comfortable working environment.
By utilizing resources efficiently, the project effectively addresses the challenge of disposing of forestry residues, reduces pollution from burning, and creates new economic growth opportunities for the forest region. Tongbei Bureau Co., Ltd. plans to further optimize processes, expand markets, and promote the transformation and development of the forest region through resource recycling.
