This agreement aligns with the South Korean government's policy direction to promote AI adoption among SMEs, helping them enhance their competitiveness. LG CNS will provide support in three areas: education, technical support, and distribution and marketing. Technical support will be linked to the newly established government initiative, the "Large-SME Win-Win AX Leading Model Project," targeting manufacturing enterprises selected by the Korea Federation of SMEs. LG CNS plans to systematize fragmented manufacturing floor data and develop a manufacturing AX starter pack that integrates a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and a manufacturing-specific Large Language Model (LLM). This solution will digitize documents such as work standards and equipment manuals, enabling a natural language-based decision-making system to fill the technical gaps of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises.

In terms of education support, LG CNS will enhance the understanding of AX among management, including CEOs of SMEs, and offer relevant courses to enable them to lead future AX adoption. It will also provide education and consulting services that define core issues for each SME and derive actionable implementation plans.

For distribution and marketing support, LG CNS will leverage its AI and mathematical optimization-based digital marketing optimization platform. To help 100 SMEs enter overseas markets, it will provide LG Optapex tailored for the Amazon platform, supporting their entry into global e-commerce platforms and efficient ad management. Domestically, it plans to use its Marketing Optimization Platform (MOP) to help SMEs improve advertising efficiency on platforms like Naver Shopping, thereby enhancing their digital marketing competitiveness.

Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, expressed anticipation that combining industrial site data with LG CNS's AI technology would achieve substantive AX. He stated that the Federation will work with LG CNS to ensure the large-SME win-win model takes root at SME sites. Hyun Shin-kyun, CEO of LG CNS, emphasized that LG CNS will accompany SMEs throughout the entire journey—from education to manufacturing innovation and marketing expansion—serving as a partner to drive their substantive growth.
