en.Wedoany.com Reported - At the 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC2026), China Information and Communication Technologies (CICT) showcased its AI Data Center solutions. These solutions focus on the principles of "more, faster, better, and more cost-effective," covering three major areas: AI optical connectivity, computing infrastructure, and full-process services.

In the field of AI optical connectivity, CICT introduced the "Fiber for AI" concept, redefining optical connectivity products from the perspective of AI computing power construction, and upgrading its positioning from a traditional optical component supplier to a "connectivity architect." The company has developed the world's largest optical fiber preform, from which a single preform can produce fiber that encircles half the globe, significantly reducing energy consumption, labor, and equipment depreciation costs per unit length. For Scale-out scenarios, CICT launched a 4-core multi-core fiber MPO solution, which can save three-quarters of the space. For high-density inter-building connectivity in GW-level campuses, the company domestically debuted a 13,824-core ultra-high-core-count optical cable, approximately 40 mm in diameter, which can replace 48 conventional 288-core cables, saving 90% of pipeline resources. Combined with pre-terminated solutions, it can meet the rapid deployment and large-scale parallel connection needs of AIDC campuses.

In terms of AI computing power and infrastructure, CICT integrates core optical network capabilities into the computing power system, focusing on large model training and inference scenarios. It emphasizes the development of highly elastic AI server clusters, FitBerg prefabricated modular computer rooms, and cold-hot dual liquid cooling systems. The complete hardware solution highlights efficient delivery, extreme energy efficiency, and autonomous controllability.

To meet the construction and operation requirements of intelligent computing centers, CICT has launched full-process services covering planning and design, delivery and deployment, and intelligent operation and maintenance, including model migration and tuning, three-level spare parts support, tiered SLAs, and full-link intelligent O&M. The company innovatively adopts the EPC+O integrated construction and operation model (Engineering, Procurement, Construction + Operation), enabling proactive alerts and visual O&M to reduce PUE and TCO.
