This hybrid system is designed to provide long-lasting energy storage and high-power output, making it ideal for AI data centers, smart grids, and renewable energy.

PEWC’s vanadium redox flow battery uses a water-based, non-flammable electrolyte and lasts over 20 years, while XING Mobility’s lithium-ion battery offers advanced thermal management and prevents thermal runaway. Together, they aim to bridge the gap between energy storage and power delivery, ensuring reliable and efficient performance.

Royce Hong, CEO of XING Mobility, emphasized, “This breakthrough brings together two of the safest and most innovative battery technologies, offering a future-ready solution for modern energy demands.” The companies plan to start with a demonstration project in Taiwan to test the system’s performance under real-world conditions.
