en.Wedoany.com Reported - The SK AI Committee held the "Unite 2026" event on the 26th (local time) in Menlo Park, Silicon Valley, USA, and unveiled the mid-to-long-term operational strategy "K-AI Alliance 2.0" for the first time.
Approximately 60 people attended the event, including key figures from SK Group such as SK AI Committee Chairman Yoo Young-sang (유영상), SK Telecom AI DC Development Division Head Ha Min-yong (하민용), SK Hynix America Venture Investment Vice President Jung Hee-jin (정희진), as well as representatives from K-AI Alliance member companies like MoloCo, Bespinglobal, Rebellion, and Imprimed, global venture capital firms such as Top Harvest Capital and Quantum Prime Ventures, and major tech companies like AWS.

The K-AI Alliance is an AI enterprise consortium led by SK Telecom, established in February 2023. Initially comprising seven companies, it now has 50 member companies. Among them, over 35% are headquartered overseas in regions such as the United States, Singapore, and Japan. Since this year, the alliance's operational body has been expanded and restructured from SK Telecom to the AI Committee under the SK Supex Pursuit Council, evolving into an AI collaboration platform at the SK Group level.
The K-AI Alliance 2.0 strategy aims to further strengthen member collaboration and global business support. Its core focus is to move beyond the existing network-centric collaboration model and engage in joint technology development, proof of concept (PoC), new service discovery, and global customer expansion with key members such as SK Telecom, SK Hynix, and SK AX, transforming the alliance into a platform for diverse collaboration opportunities. Additionally, the alliance plans to operate regular projects in key regions such as Japan, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, actively supporting member companies in attracting global investment and expanding their businesses.
At Unite 2026, Kindred Ventures representative Steve Jang delivered a keynote speech titled "The Future of AI from a Silicon Valley Investor's Perspective," introducing the latest investment and technology trends in Silicon Valley and sharing insights on global growth opportunities for South Korean AI startups. Subsequently, member companies including Imprimed, Soundable Health, Real World, Gauss Labs, Primemass, MangoBoost, and Panecia held corporate presentations for global investors, and introduced new K-AI Alliance members such as Channel Corporation, HyperXcel, Primemass, and Panecia. Participants also engaged in panel discussions on common bottlenecks in the AI field and their solutions, as well as the outlook for the AI semiconductor industry.
Soundable Health Representative Song Ji-young (송지영), who attended the event, stated that meeting directly with global investors and partners in Silicon Valley, the heart of the AI industry, and sharing the latest market trends and experiences was very meaningful. SK AI Committee Chairman Yoo Young-sang noted that the alliance will continue to expand its member base and strengthen its global network, aiming to become the go-to global AI ecosystem platform for investors and major tech companies.
