en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Ferretti Group has officially released the latest details and first official images of the Riva 54Metri superyacht. This all-aluminum yacht is the largest vessel ever built in the 180-year history of the Riva brand, measuring 54.83 meters in length, with a beam of 9.18 meters and a gross tonnage just below the 500 GT threshold.

The design and engineering of the yacht were completed jointly by Officina Italiana Design (founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, who have designed for the Riva series for 30 years), the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, and the Group's engineering department. The Riva 54Metri continues the brand's signature clean lines and metallic aesthetic, with both the hull and superstructure constructed entirely from aluminum. The yacht spans four decks, with the main deck, upper deck, and lower deck connected by a central guest elevator. It can accommodate up to 10 guests, featuring four double guest cabins and a master suite located at the bow of the main deck. The crew quarters include five double cabins and a separate captain's cabin adjacent to the wheelhouse. Lead designer Mauro Micheli and Officina Italiana Design CEO Sergio Beretta stated that the yacht achieves a unique balance between volume, proportion, and quality, with the forward-raked deckhouse and windshield, as well as the angled lines at the stern, giving it a strong Riva brand identity. The stern beach club offers unparalleled space through four outward-swinging side sections. At the stern, a 5-square-meter transformer platform with a walkway, approximately one and a half meters long, leads to the 42.5-square-meter lower deck beach area. The beach area features a four-meter by two-meter pool with dual freshwater tanks and a heating system, allowing it to remain full even while underway, eliminating the need to drain and refill during short transits. Through fold-down bulwarks on both sides, the usable deck space on either side of the pool is expanded by an additional 20 square meters, bringing the total beach club area to over 60 square meters. This area can also be shaded by an awning when necessary and is equipped with a fully fitted gym. The main deck extends 45 square meters, with fold-down balconies on both sides of the cockpit, each providing approximately 6.6 square meters of additional space. The upper deck is designed as the primary social and entertainment area.

In terms of the propulsion system, the yacht is equipped with two MTU 12V2000 M96L engines, each with a rated power of 1,432 kW. Combined with optimized shaft lines and six-blade fixed-pitch propellers, the yacht can achieve a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising range of approximately 3,600 nautical miles at 11 knots. The wheelhouse is equipped with two independently operable electric steering wheels to enhance maneuverability, energy efficiency, and integration with digital systems. The yacht is fitted with four Naiad Dynamics electric stabilizer fins, which are more compact, quieter, and faster-responding than traditional hydraulic systems, and effectively control draft, with a maximum draft of only 2.25 meters.

Stassi Anastassov, Global CEO of the Ferretti Group, stated that the Riva 54Metri is far more than just the largest Riva ever built; it embodies the timeless elegance that has defined the brand for generations, while setting new standards in design, technology, comfort, and onboard experience.
