en.Wedoany.com Reported - Daly Resources (ASX:DLY) has restarted exploration at the Huckitta fluorite project in the Northern Territory to follow up on previous rock chip assay results of up to 95.10% calcium fluoride.
The company is conducting geological mapping to identify additional vein structures beyond previously recorded occurrences within priority target areas, and collecting rock chip and soil samples for laboratory analysis.
Soil sampling will test whether potential vein systems extend beneath thin cover north of previously reported fluorite results. If successful, this could substantially expand the effective exploration area.
The current field activity follows up on previous high-grade rock chip results and limited historical drilling, where hole PH1 returned 35.10% calcium fluoride over 6.10 meters.
Executive Chairman Mike Edwards said the company is making rapid progress across its project portfolio. He added that the current program will improve understanding of the project, with mapping and sampling aimed at identifying additional vein structures within priority target areas.
Daly Resources has commenced an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey covering approximately 3,200 line kilometers over key areas of the Huckitta project. The survey aims to enhance understanding of the geological architecture of the company's project area, including key rock units and structural distributions that may control the location and orientation of fluorite-bearing veins.
New geophysical data will be integrated with surface mapping, rock chip sampling, and soil geochemistry to refine the geological model and identify priority areas for future exploration.
Results from the geophysical survey and laboratory analysis are expected in the coming weeks.
The Huckitta project covers approximately 3,812 square kilometers and is prospective for fluorite and sediment-hosted copper mineralization. Daly Resources holds a portfolio of granted exploration tenements covering over 6,500 square kilometers in the Northern Territory, targeting fluorite, copper, and zinc across the Huckitta, Broughton, and Batten projects.
