en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Consorcio Portuario Regional Mar del Plata (Mar del Plata Regional Port Consortium) will implement traffic restrictions and parking bans for approximately two weeks starting June 30, on Avenida de los Pescadores (Fishermen's Avenue) between the entrances to Docks 2 and 3 and Avenida Dorrego (Dorrego Avenue), as part of a comprehensive improvement plan for the road network under its jurisdiction.

These restrictions are due to ongoing pavement laying and repair work in the area. The consortium urges vehicles that frequently use this area to follow preventive signage and choose alternative routes whenever possible. Consortium President Marcos Gutiérrez stated that these works are part of the improvement plan the consortium is advancing to optimize road infrastructure.

Gutiérrez explained that this intervention includes laying and repairing over 3,000 square meters of concrete pavement on streets and avenues within the jurisdiction. He described it as a public works project crucial for port operations and revealed that new construction phases are planned for later this year. The project aims to improve accessibility, enhance road safety, and support the growth of port activities through infrastructure that matches operational needs and the daily flow of people and vehicles entering and leaving the port area.
