en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, Section 1 of the Uganda Kibuku Water Supply and Sanitation System Construction Project, undertaken by China Railway Group Limited under its subsidiary China Railway Tenth Group, passed the preliminary completion acceptance.

This livelihood infrastructure project is located in the Kibuku region of eastern Uganda. The main construction scope includes 60.126 kilometers of main water supply pipelines, 67.507 kilometers of branch pipelines, a booster pump station and ancillary works, as well as the installation of household water connection facilities for 1,300 residents.
The acceptance team conducted on-site inspections of the water supply network, water tanks, booster pump station, and public sanitation facilities, and reviewed relevant technical documentation. Following a comprehensive assessment, the acceptance team unanimously agreed that the project quality, functional indicators, and operational performance all meet the contractual and design requirements, and approved the preliminary completion acceptance.
Once operational, this project will significantly enhance the water supply capacity in the Kibuku area, providing residents with safe, stable, and clean drinking water on a continuous basis. It will improve regional public sanitation conditions, reduce the risk of waterborne disease transmission, and play a vital role in promoting local economic and social development and improving the quality of life for the people.
