en.Wedoany.com Reported - Canadian mineral exploration company Atlantico Energy Metals Corp. (CSE: ATLA) officially listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) on June 3, 2026. Headquartered in Vancouver and founded in 2025, the company focuses on the exploration of lithium and rare earth elements in Brazil. Its flagship asset is the Novo Cruzeiro project, located in the "Lithium Valley" region of northeastern Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The Novo Cruzeiro project consists of 15 contiguous exploration license areas, covering a total area of over 24,000 hectares across the municipalities of Itaipé, Ladainha, and Novo Cruzeiro. Atlantico Energy Metals completed the acquisition of this project in May 2026 through a reverse takeover transaction.

According to a technical report compliant with Canadian NI 43-101 standards, completed and filed by the company on February 9, 2026, initial exploration results indicate rare earth oxide enrichment, elevated magnetic rare earth oxide content, and lithium pathfinder indicators at the Novo Cruzeiro project. These results were derived from 170 stream sediment samples and 61 rock samples collected across the project area. The stream sediment samples, collected at an average density of one per 1.45 square kilometers, provided preliminary exploration coverage of the project area. Among the 170 stream sediment samples, 21 had total rare earth oxide (TREO) content exceeding 1,000 ppm, with a maximum value of 3,352 ppm. Magnetic rare earth oxides (MREO) accounted for over 25% of total rare earth oxides in multiple samples, reaching up to 41%.

In addition to rare earth elements, the samples also identified multiple lithium anomalies in the northern and central areas of the project. Atlantico Energy Metals President and CEO Bonn Smith stated: "These initial exploration results provide a solid technical foundation for the Novo Cruzeiro project. Novo Cruzeiro is not just a single-mineral story; the initial exploration data show rare earth enrichment, meaningful magnetic rare earth oxide content, and lithium pathfinder indicators across a vast and underexplored claim area in Brazil's Lithium Valley."

Furthermore, the company's geological team discovered several abandoned artisanal mining tunnels (garimpo galleries) within the claim area, one of which extends approximately 40 meters into the hillside. The pegmatite material exposed in the tunnel provides direct access for geological mapping and sampling. Atlantico plans to advance the first phase of its exploration program based on the recommendations of the technical report.
