en.Wedoany.com Reported - Arras Minerals (TSXV: ARK) plans to expand its Kazakhstan drilling program to 40,000 meters, doubling its previous target, with completion expected by the end of 2026. The company closed a upsized C$25 million bought deal financing earlier this week.

Arras President Darren Klinck said investor demand has strengthened the company's confidence in its strategy. He noted that the strong financial position will enable it to maintain the excellent progress achieved over the past six months with four drill rigs in operation.

According to Arras, over 30,000 meters have been drilled on the Berezski trend at its Elemes project in northeastern Kazakhstan. Arras CEO Tim Barry stated that the expanded program will continue drilling on existing projects while testing new targets along the trend. He added that the company is deepening its understanding of the geology and structure of this approximately 10-kilometer strike, where at least three porphyry centers have been identified.

Arras has drilled 27 holes totaling over 18,000 meters at the Elemes project this year. The project is located within the Bozshakol‑Chingiz metallogenic belt and covers an area of 531 square kilometers. Soil sampling has delineated two major trends, Berezski and Aimandai, which are currently the focus of Arras's expanded exploration efforts.
