en.Wedoany.com Reported - Representatives of Russian mining companies will participate in the All-Russian "Placer Gold" Forum (Всероссийский форум «Россыпное золото») and the MAINEX Mining Club (Горный Клуб МАЙНЕКС) events, to be held in Khabarovsk on August 19–20, 2026.
On the first day of the forum, gold miners will take part in a roundtable discussion, with representatives from the management of the Federal Subsoil Resources Agency (Роснедра), its subordinate bodies, as well as regional branches of the Federal Forestry Agency (Рослесхоз) and the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources (Росприроднадзор) in attendance. The second day will feature a master class focused on practical advice for placer gold mining, with participation from representatives of the State Commission on Mineral Reserves (ГКЗ), the Russian Geological Expertise Agency (Росгеолэкспертиза), and the Central Geological Exploration Research Institute (ЦНИГРИ).
Over the two-day event, participants will discuss cross-regional agendas, interaction between government agencies and subsoil users, interdepartmental approaches to resolving issues faced by subsoil users, and administrative barriers in an open dialogue format. The parties will also jointly develop solutions in areas such as the development of artificial placer gold deposits, regulation of mining waste management, and the use of forest land.
In addition to representatives of regulatory bodies, major gold miners of placer deposits, junior mining companies (юниорные компании), and regional gold industry associations will also attend this industry meeting.
The event is organized by the MAINEX Group of Companies (ГК «Майнекс») and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Institute for Mining Industry Development: Golden People" (АНО «Институт развития горной отрасли: Золотые люди») at the official reception hall of the Khabarovsk Krai Government, with support from the Ministry of Natural Resources of Khabarovsk Krai, the Federal Subsoil Resources Agency, the First Junior Mining Accelerator (Первый юниорный акселератор), the industry portal NEDRADV, and the magazine "Our Far East Region" (журнал «Наш регион ДВ»). Registration for the second All-Russian "Russian Placer Gold" Forum is now open, and seats for the roundtable discussion must be reserved in advance.
