en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 10, 2026, forestry experts from the Urushinsky forestry in Russia's Amur Region, together with officers from the Federal Security Service (FSB), conducted a large-scale joint aerial inspection, focusing on compliance with forest regulations at gold mining facilities within the forestry area.

The flight route followed the main waterways of the Urushinsky forestry—the Bolshoy Oldoy, Urusha, Burgali, Fomkin Klyuch, Chuchuma, and Pioner rivers. The expert team paid particular attention to the Berezitovy mine area, where land reclamation work is currently underway on damaged terrain.

Within the Urushinsky forestry, 12 gold mining companies are currently engaged in mineral exploration under licenses, while another 23 enterprises operate under lease conditions, conducting exploration and extraction of precious metals. No violations of forest regulations were detected during this aerial inspection.

According to the Urushinsky forestry administration, such joint flights are conducted an average of four to five times per year. Once border guards have the technical capabilities and aircraft are available, foresters can take to the air for monitoring. From above, vast and hard-to-reach areas are clearly visible, helping to quickly respond to any threats to forest resources.
