Kumho Construction formed a consortium with Isu Construction, Ssangyong Construction, and Umi Development for this project, holding a 51% stake as the lead company.
The total project cost is 438.2 billion won, and the complex will be named after Kumho Construction's apartment brand "ARTERA." Kumho Construction plans to build 17 apartment buildings with one basement level and 20 above-ground floors, featuring exclusive areas of 74 to 84 square meters, totaling 1,295 units. Construction is scheduled to begin in December this year, with completion in July 2029.
Kumho Construction plans to orient all units primarily southward to maximize natural lighting efficiency, and will introduce a smart IoT (Internet of Things) living platform system along with customized community facilities for residents.
The project is located in the Gyeonggi Province semiconductor belt, near Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek campus, a locational advantage that has drawn attention, with demand concentrated in apartments commonly referred to as the "shuttle bus circle" (shuttle bus plus subway station circle).
The complex is situated in the Godeok International New Town, adjacent to multiple industrial complexes including Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek campus, KG Mobility, Songtan General Industrial Complex, Eoyeon Hansan General Industrial Complex, and Pyeongtaek Dream Tech General Industrial Complex, and is considered an area with sufficient backend demand.
A Kumho Construction official stated that the company will leverage its accumulated construction capabilities and experience in the private-participation public housing sector to create a landmark complex representing the region.
