en.Wedoany.com Reported - Nine Mile Metals (CSE:NINE) has completed drill hole DDH-WD-26-03, which intersected pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization in the Wedge deposit in Canada.

This drill hole is located on the north side, on the same platform as drill hole WD-26-02.

Vice President of Exploration Gary Lohman stated that each completed drill hole intersected sulfide mineralization, and the first three holes of the program have provided nearly 490 meters of mineralized core.

Lohman noted that the pattern is as important as the width: the first hole revealed two separate massive sulfide zones, the second hole showed a new copper-rich horizon, and now the third hole has encountered massive sulfides at deeper levels of the system.

He further explained that each drill hole was fanned out on the north limb as directed by Apex Geoscience, so every meter of core is directly used for the 3D model and ongoing NI 43-101 work.

President Jonathan Holmes added that the company's hypothesis for the Wedge deposit is simple.

Holmes stated that the mine was closed for operational reasons, not due to depletion of the deposit, and the company believes most of the resource remains underground and is open at depth.

Holmes emphasized that seeing the deepest drill hole reported by the company at Wedge intersect massive sulfides well below the previous two holes validates this hypothesis in real time—the company could not have started the quarter on a better note.

All drill core has been measured, logged, photographed, and marked for sampling at the company's warehouse in Bathurst, New Brunswick.
