The wind project, with a total investment of AUD 3 billion, will play a key role in Australia's energy transition, bringing new energy security and job opportunities to the growing population and industrial base of the Gladstone region, while helping to improve electricity affordability in Queensland. The project is expected to commence construction in 2027, subject to a final investment decision. The construction period will last up to four years, with a peak workforce of up to 500 workers.
