en.Wedoany.com Reported - NOA Lithium has provided an update on its 2026 drilling activities at the Río Grande Project in Salta Province, Argentina. Two rigs continue to operate as planned, aiming to deepen the understanding of the geological potential of this salt flat.
The exploration drilling has reached the target depth of 504 meters. Additionally, Borehole Magnetic Resonance (BMR) logging has been completed, a critical step in the design process for the project's first production well.

NOA Lithium CEO Gabriel Rubacha stated that the drilling program is progressing according to the scheduled timeline. He noted that reaching the planned depth and completing the BMR logging are important steps toward finalizing the design of the first production well and advancing the project into the testing phase.

The primary objective of this drilling campaign is to evaluate deep brine-bearing aquifers and continue refining the project's hydrogeological and resource models. This information will provide foundational data for subsequent technical and economic assessment phases.
According to the company, the results obtained during drilling and the upcoming tests will help consolidate the understanding of the deposit and support further in-depth research work for the Río Grande Project. The project is considered a core asset for NOA Lithium in Salta Province.
