Turkey and Iraq Sign Crude Oil Transportation Agreement

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 1 local time, Türkiye's Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources announced that the Turkish State Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) and two Iraqi oil companies have officially signed a one-year crude oil transportation agreement. Under the agreement, the two sides will efficiently utilize the crude oil pipeline, with a daily transportation capacity of 750,000 barrels allocated to the Iraqi side. The Turkish side stated that the pipeline's total designed daily output(5.45, 0.00, 0.00%) capacity reaches 1.5 million barrels.

Earlier, during his visit to Türkiye, Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Zaidi stated that Iraq would supply 1 million barrels of oil per day to Turkey.
