Wedoany.com Report-Aug. 14, Jijing Intelligent Technology, a Chinese manufacturer of intelligent commercial vehicles, has announced that its Level 4 autonomous sanitation vehicles are now available for nationwide sale, with production orders secured through the fourth quarter of 2025. Based in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jijing was co-founded by Zelos Tech, a leader in Level 4 autonomous driving technology, and Hubei Guorui Intelligent Equipment, a listed smart equipment manufacturer. The company specializes in end-to-end solutions for high-level autonomous vehicles tailored for municipal sanitation, logistics transport, and livestock farming.
At Jijing’s Wuhan production facility, the Level 4 autonomous sanitation vehicles undergo rigorous testing, cruising at approximately 20 km/h while automatically adjusting speed and steering to avoid pedestrians within five meters. An on-site engineer explained: “The vehicles are equipped with multiple sensor arrays capable of precisely detecting road obstacles.” Each vehicle completes over 100 kilometers of comprehensive road testing before delivery, evaluating traffic signal recognition, braking reliability, and chassis stability on uneven terrain.
The facility produces three primary categories of autonomous vehicles: municipal sanitation, livestock farming, and logistics transport. Municipal sanitation models, including street sweepers, water cannon trucks, and mist-spraying vehicles, account for 70% of Jijing’s sales. These vehicles feature advanced capabilities such as precise edge cleaning, dynamic route planning, multi-vehicle coordination, and sophisticated waste recognition, enhancing efficiency in urban environments.
A standout model, the “Xiangwo” unmanned water-spraying truck, has a two-ton water capacity and allows precise control of spray flow, angle, and mode, making it ideal for urban dust suppression and auxiliary firefighting. With a 200-kilometer range per charge, strong hill-climbing performance, and an intelligent refilling system for autonomous water replenishment, the Xiangwo meets the demands of diverse urban settings.
Beyond sanitation, Jijing’s portfolio includes autonomous refrigerated trucks, feed dispensers, and disinfection vehicles, which are already in use by pharmacies, supermarkets, and courier services across China. These intelligent systems are increasingly replacing manual operations, with municipal sanitation proving to be the most reliable and widely adopted application. Jijing’s advancements reflect the growing integration of autonomous technology in commercial sectors, delivering efficient and sustainable solutions for urban and industrial needs nationwide.
