The certification includes mass balance recognition, confirming that the facility has established reliable systems for tracking and managing alternative raw materials throughout the polymer production process to advance sustainability and transparency goals.

Westlake stated that several of its other manufacturing sites have previously obtained ISCC PLUS certification for their products.
